Community & Volunteer Engagement Officer
This year Ulverston MIND celebrates 30 years of providing mental health services in South Cumbria and, as part of our review to grow activity in the community, we are delighted to recruit to a new position - Community and Volunteer Engagement Officer.

Role: Community and Volunteer Engagement Officer
Salary Details: £19,430 (NJC Scale 20) pro-rata 16 hours a week
Closing Date: Monday 16th April 2018
Interview Date: Friday 27th April 2018 and interviews held in Ulverston, South Cumbria
The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of recruiting, training, leading, suppporting and developing a highly skilled and motivated volunteer workforce that is representative of and relevant to the charity's work across Ulverston MIND teams and projects. They will work collaboratively with project leads including Connecting Mums and Peer Support drop-in groups to initiate new projects and activities and identify and fill resource gaps through skilled volunteers. Working with the wider staff team will include participation in Ulverston MIND activities and projects that help nuture and develop community volunteers and meet project performance targets.
